Why I became Yoga Teacher?
Article By: Dr. Jayshree Yeshwante
As a child, I used to see lot of grown up
people suffering from physical and mental illness. And I start wondering what
can be preventive solutions for long term positive effects.
And the answer was - YOGA
It is my
heart’s desire to teach deeply connected, empowering and inspirational yoga, to
promote and facilitate self-love, awareness, healing and open-heartedness, and
to effectively train others to do the same. I want to spread the message that
transformation is possible for everyone who wants it - and even those who doubt
themselves. To share my experience of healing with the people who begin to
realise everything they thought they wanted is perhaps not what they needed
after all. The ones who have secret desires to change career and change their
world but feel trapped, the ones whose spirit is calling them to transform
their lives. There is a global movement of awakening, healing and
transformation happening - it is spreading like wildfire, and I am honoured to
be part of it.
And, I became YOGA teacher.

Happiest Man in World
Source : Esquire
Writer : Mat Smith
Matthieu Ricard, 67, Buddhist monk
"If you can learn how to ride a bike you can learn how to be happy," says 67-year-old Buddhist monk and Happiest Man In The World, Matthieu Ricard.
As a child, poet Andre Breton, film-maker Louis Buñuel and composer Igor Stravinsky were regular guests to Ricard's philosopher parents' Parisian home. However, observing that the genius of his parents' friends didn't seem to make them any happier he set off for the Himalayas (abandoning his work as a molecular biologist at the Pasteur Institute) and transformed his life via meditation.
At the last count he'd clocked up more than 10,000 hours. Highly complex MRI scans by cognitive scientists at the Laboratory for Affective Neuroscience in Wisconsin have shown extraordinarily high levels of upbeat activity (-0.45 on a range where -0.3 is described as "beatific") and almost invisible levels of negative emotions. "I don't see everything as rosy," he says, "but the ups and downs of life don't unsettle me in the usual way."

Peace Within
The Med Mob is a popular concept all over the world from Manchester to Austin and now in Mumbai . The idea is to meditate amidst the bustling traffic at Nariman point along with some good old chanting in memory of those who lost lives in 26/11 attacks. It's proven world wide that when people meditate together the crime rates drop down. So join in physically at Mumbai venue and be there in spirit today

Moment of Clarity
Be fully aware . We all have the Buddha mind in us . Every sentient being has it . This mind is always present, always clear, and always perfect The natural expression of the perfect mind is clarity The problem is when this mind is filled with delusions, aggressive and non-virtuous thoughts arising out of the five poisons of pride, ignorance, greed, jealousy and desire If we continue to carry out all our actions with this karmic mind, it often leads to suffering If we try and understand the difference.between the base and the karmic mind, we will be able to clearly see the afflicted mind.
